My reason to applying to “C school” is continue my graduate education and complete Master program in social work. Since I was about thirteen, there was something about helping others that made me feel awarded inside. As a teenager you don’t know what appreciation is until you grow up. Knowing your making a change and that I mean a positive change is a feeling that’s hard to explain to others. I like to encourage others, and guide them, and also self promote them to be better. Attending “C school” will help me understand and benefit me for my professional endeavors.

Homelessness is one of the social issues affecting the society today and one, which is very important to me. Most of the times, I encounter clients who are homeless or at the risk of becoming homeless. Some are people who other people at one point in their life have brought them to the situation of becoming homeless and they don’t know what to do and think that this is the end for them. I’ve had a situation were a client was living in a hotel with his family because the client was evicted from his house. It was a very hard time for the client because it led to depression and them not being able to provide for their family. Having a short time professional experience has brought to my attention what they need is encouragement that life goes on and that it is not a long-term situation, a voice to air their problem and someone who they can go to for problem solving.
